What started as a simple walk past a fitness studio in Aspen quickly turned into a mission. As a licensed physical therapist and strength coach, Pete saw people performing glute exercises on oversized machines — but with poor mechanics, limited stability, and constant interruptions just to change resistance.
He knew there had to be a better way.
Driven by years of experience and a deep understanding of human movement, Pete began building what would eventually become the Glute Slide — a compact, powerful, and user-friendly machine designed to target the glutes with precision and purpose. After years of trial, error, setbacks, and collaboration with Heavy Metal Barbell’s Greg and Zach Olson, the vision became reality.
Where it all began — our earliest prototype, built by hand to solve a real training problem.
